Running by Cassie Johnson
Running is my passion
It's better than New York fashion
I like to run at a fast pace
It helps me strive for 1st place
At practice I try to keep up with Jeremy, Alicia and Carly
But to do so I will need to get a Harley
Coach Jeremy and Coach Lorena are so grand
By far they're the #1 coaches in all the land
That is why the Corona Panthers are the best
So forget about all the rest!!
I Believe by Samantha Smitley
I believe that a runner should be strong
I believe that a runner should be bold
But through all that a runner should be confident
A runner should be faithful to their team
They should be hard working to fulfill their dreams
I believe that anyone could be a runner if they just believe.
Running by Madison Smitley
A runner should be fierce on the starting line
The gun goes off as I go up the hills
As I run through the orchards
I sing a song in my head
The crowd goes wild
I turn it on and I come in first
Everyone cheers me on
As I go through the finish line
I did it I won!
The Storm Will Stop by Myah Hatcher
The storm wil stop in any way sometime it will not but as long as your with God it will stop just believe and it will!
Great by Edward Hatcher
I am great, for the live I've had the things I've done have made me great. The parents I have and the things I've learned have also made me where I am today. Therefore, I am great.
Judge by Leelah Hatcher
Who am I to judge the way the ocean flows?
Who am I to judge the way the wind blows?
Who am I to judge the way you walk and talk?
Who am I, but a judge.
A Shot Put Hi Ku by Madison Smitley
I have thrown my ball,
That is all,
Time to go home.
Spikes by Samantha Smitley
My spikes are sharp and pointy,
I feel them as I run,
When I am done, they are too
Cross Country by Gaby Gil
Cross Country is really fun especially when you start to run
When the wind blows across my face, I tell myself to finish the race
When I come to the finish line I feel good, I never thought I could finish a race but Now I know I could.
Cross Country by Carly Lee
Courses are different every meet
Run to have fun and feel good
Out there to do my personal best
Someone cheering you on feels good
Speed and times become greater
Can meet new friends
Open to see new places
Unlimited dreams
Never give up
Touth at times
Race to the finish
You rough out the hard times and make yourself better
Running by Shae Morgan
Running is enjoying to me because I like long distance running and it keeps me healthy. When I run I feel like I am flying. It keeps my heart pumping and my lungs breathing. When I run I can feel myself improving every race. I feel if I keep on running I will be really fast. If I was able to make a wish it would be to run faster.
Running makes me healthier by giving me exercise and running off carbs. It makes my legs stronger and gives me muscles. My body is way healthier than before I started running. I am also faster and eat less junk food. Even though I am not as fast as some of my teammates, I keep trying. My legs feel like they can't run anymore after a race.
I have a really fun time when I am with my friends and I am running. I am glad that I tried running.
Experience of a Lifetime by Gaby Gil
My great experience in cross-country helped me realize and try to change some of my bad running habits. Although, I had a lot to work on, I still had a wonderful time. Like during races, everyone would cheer you on even if you came in last place. The coaches (Coach Jeremy, Lorena, and Grace) would cheer you on and support you through the hardest races. Not only did they support you they would get you ready and prepared for tough races. Clearly running cross-country is great! It is a wonderful experience!!!
Sam I am by Samantha Smitley
I can't say that I don't love feeling the wind blow in my face
I feel like I'm flying while I start to set my pace
Running makes me realize how beautiful I am inside and out
I know this is what running is all about
When I hear my wonderful team, yell "Go Sam"
I speed up to win the race and think good job "Sam I am"!

I can make a Difference
by Jeremy Beck
I can make a difference
By going to the Olympics
I can represent the USA
I want people to shout "hooray'
I want to succeed
And people to say "that guy has speed"
When I get older, if, I have a son
I don't want him to be like me
And have a lot of Bs
And when he comes home
I want him to say "everythings okay"
because he will be better than me
Cheer by Max Lee
This year about running I liked the racing the best because people cheer you on. I also like racing because if you are in a good place you want to see what kind of medal you are going to get and when people cheer you on you get all this momentum.
Running
by Chandler Morgan
I love to run.
I like to make new friends it is fun
I love the feeling when I start a race,
it makes me happy in the face,
When I hear the gunshot in the air
it gets me scared, but who cares.
I have a blast
When I go fast.
I am gone
when people cheer me on.
I'm feeling fine
when I cross the finish line.
I hope to get a medal one day,
I will find a way

Track is Fun by Emily Ortiz
Track is fun,
and exercise in one
If you do not come in first
don't get upset, you did your best
Always listen to your coach
and don't give up,
because practice makes you faster,
and is always fun
I like to run
Both at night in the sun.
