CORONA PANTHERS
TRACK CLUB
Corona Panthers Track Club was founded in 2006 by the supportive parents of Jeremy Beck, an 8 yr. old runner, whose dream was to start a comprehensive youth running program placing prominence on exemplary performance in academics, athletics, and community service. With the help of his parents, Jeremy and Lorena Beck, the family pulled together their savings to invest in a program with the vision to mold Champions for Life! Since then, he has not only been involved in designing the uniforms, flyers, and website but also offering encouragement to give participants the confidence to succeed and become stronger in their ability to overcome challenges.
Since its inception, the club has awarded more than $10,000 in savings bonds to scholar-athletes with GPA’s over 3.0 and has more than 50 athletes ranking in the top 100 in the nation.
As part of its commitment to making a difference, Corona Panthers Track Club actively contributes to its community by participating in and working closely with the 100 Mile Club; Corona-Norco Unified School District – Annual Junior Olympic Elementary School Track Meet; Kiwanis Club of Norco & Lake Norconian Club – Annual Lake Norcian 5K Run/Walk; Climate Boosters – Eastvale Cares Family 5K & Health Fair; and Riverside Mission Inn Run.
Each year, the club hosts the Youth Cross Country Invitational and Run with the Panthers 5K Run/Walk & 1K Cub Fun Run at The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos of which a portion of the proceeds from this event is donated to the Corona-Norco Unified School District Elementary Track Meet Program.
Today Corona Panthers Track Club stands as a successful non profit youth running club inspiring Corona and Riverside County youth athletes to be committed and dedicated to being Champions for Life!
